The Inn
The Inn at White Hollow Farm is
a small country inn located in a spectacular rural setting in
beautiful Litchfield County, Connecticut. The Inn has four
gracefully appointed bedrooms on the second floor, each with a
complete private bath. Maintaining it's history as turn of the century
farmhouse, the Inn provides conveniences that accompany contemporary
living and the atmosphere produced by period designs and
furnishings.
A fully equipped kitchen and dining
area are available. Fresh coffee and muffins are
available in the morning, to be enjoyed along with the panoramic
views of the surrounding countryside.
Sit back and absorb the bucolic
views from a wicker chair on the wrap around porch or amble down
paths that take you through fields and gardens along streams and
rivers.
The Salmon Kill, one of the
area's finest trout streams, flows through the property and joins
the Housatonic River on the farm. These rivers, a brief walk form
the Inn's front door, offer our Guests excellent fly fishing. The
Salmon Kill is available exclusively to our guests. Should you wish
to fish on the river, just a short distance from the Inn is Housatonic Outfitters, where you can find Fly fishing guides.
The Appalachian Trail also
intersects our property. Guests can embark on short jaunts to catch
the views from the nearest hill, or undertake excursions that are
more ambitious.
The Village of Lime Rock is
located in the Town of Salisbury. Salisbury is the home to
Lake Wononscopomuc, the Eastern Championship Ski Jumps and Lime Rock
Park, Road Racing Center of the East. The Holly Williams House Museum and the
Salisbury Cannon Museum are open for tours by appointment.
